Terms of Use
Last updated: 11 August 2026
These Terms of Use govern the use of the price comparison and voucher-code portal operated under the domain www.shopilo.com and of the Shopilo mobile application (together, the “Service”). By accessing and using the Service, users (the “User”) accept these Terms in the version in force at the time. Where separate terms apply to individual features or parts of the Service — including the country-specific Shopilo sites linked from www.shopilo.com — those terms apply in addition or, in the event of conflict, in place of the provisions below.

2. Description of the Service
2.1 Nature of the Service
The website www.shopilo.com is an editorially operated price comparison and voucher-code portal and the international hub of the Shopilo network, linking to Shopilo’s country-specific sites. The Service — including the Shopilo mobile application — enables Users to compare offers from various online retailers, view current voucher codes and discount promotions, and be redirected directly to the relevant retailers via external links.
DontPayFull SRL is not a retailer and does not act as a contracting party for the purchase of goods or services. The Service is provided solely for information and intermediation purposes; purchase contracts are concluded exclusively between the User and the relevant retailer.
2.2 Offer ranking (ranking transparency)
Ranking parameters: in accordance with applicable EU consumer protection law (Directive 2005/29/EC on unfair commercial practices, as amended by the EU Omnibus Directive (EU) 2019/2161), we disclose that offers are ranked primarily by: recency and validity (working, current offers are shown first), discount value, editorial relevance and usefulness to the User. The amount of any affiliate commission is not a ranking criterion, and no retailer can pay for a better position in our results. If any placement were ever paid for, it would be clearly labelled as such. Where we display a price reduction (“was €X, now €Y” or a percentage discount), the prior reference price is the lowest price applied in the 30 days before the reduction, in accordance with Article 6a of Directive 98/6/EC (the Price Indication Directive) as implemented in the applicable Member State.
2.3 Editorial quality assurance
All offers, voucher codes and prices published on the Service are checked by our editorial team. Nevertheless, due to the dynamic nature of market prices and retailer promotions, we cannot guarantee the currency, completeness or accuracy of the information displayed in every individual case. Prices, availability and conditions are the sole responsibility of the relevant retailers and may change at any time after publication. The information on the retailer’s website at the time of purchase is always decisive.
2.4 Free of charge for Users
Use of the Service by consumers is free of charge. Registration or the provision of personal data is not required for basic use. DontPayFull SRL finances the Service through affiliate commissions from participating retailers (see section 3).
2.5 Availability
DontPayFull SRL aims to keep the Service as available as possible but gives no guarantee of uninterrupted accessibility. Maintenance work, technical faults or circumstances beyond our control may cause temporary interruptions. There is no entitlement to any particular level of availability.
3. Affiliate marketing and remuneration
3.1 Disclosure of commercial intent
Notice of commercial communication: the Service is an affiliate comparison portal. When you shop via our links, we may receive a commission from the relevant retailer. This affects neither the prices you pay to the retailer nor our editorial independence. In accordance with applicable EU consumer protection law (which prohibits misleading commercial practices, including failing to disclose commercial intent) and applicable advertising standards on the recognisability of marketing communications, all affiliate links on the Service are identifiable as advertising and are labelled “Ad” where appropriate, clearly and before you interact with them. The selection and presentation of offers is based exclusively on quality criteria such as price advantage, retailer rating and relevance for our Users.
3.2 How affiliate remuneration works
DontPayFull SRL participates in affiliate partner programmes of various retailers and affiliate networks. If a User clicks a retailer link and subsequently makes a purchase, DontPayFull SRL may receive performance-based remuneration (a commission). This commission is paid by the retailer or affiliate network; no additional costs whatsoever arise for the User.
3.3 Cookies in the affiliate context
As part of affiliate tracking, retailers and affiliate networks may set technical cookies or similar technologies on their own domains in order to attribute transactions. The Service itself sets no tracking cookies of its own as part of affiliate tracking. For information on the cookies used on the Service, please see our Cookie Policy.
3.4 Editorial independence
Participation in affiliate programmes has no influence on the editorial assessment, order or selection of the offers presented on the Service. Affiliate links that may generate a commission are recognisable as such or transparently disclosed in this statement.
4. Usage rights and restrictions
4.1 Licence granted
DontPayFull SRL grants the User a non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes. This licence covers accessing and viewing the content published on the Service, using the Shopilo mobile application in accordance with these Terms, and following redirect links to third-party retailers.
4.2 Prohibited uses
Without the prior written consent of DontPayFull SRL, it is prohibited to:
- query, index or “scrape” the Service or parts of it by automated means (automated extraction of content), regardless of the technical means used;
- systematically reproduce, store, distribute or make publicly available content from the Service, in particular to build competing offerings;
- use the Service or its content for commercial purposes without the express written permission of DontPayFull SRL;
- circumvent, disable or otherwise interfere with technical protection measures of the Service;
- interfere with, overload or damage the infrastructure of the Service (e.g. through denial-of-service attacks, the injection of malicious code or similar actions);
- use frames or other embedding techniques to incorporate the Service or parts of it into third-party websites without express permission;
- spread false or misleading information about the Service or DontPayFull SRL.
4.3 Consequences of breaches
DontPayFull SRL reserves the right, in the event of breaches of these usage restrictions, to block access to the Service, to pursue civil claims for damages and to inform the competent authorities where conduct of criminal relevance is involved.
5. Intellectual property and trade marks
5.1 Content of DontPayFull SRL
All content of the Service, in particular texts, graphics, logos (to the extent attributable to DontPayFull SRL), the database structure, the layout and the source code of the website and the mobile application, is protected by copyright and is owned by DontPayFull SRL or used by DontPayFull SRL with the permission of the relevant rights holders. All rights are reserved.
The reproduction, adaptation, distribution or communication to the public of this content — including in extract form — is not permitted without the prior written consent of DontPayFull SRL, to the extent it goes beyond the scope of use granted in section 4.1.
5.2 Third-party rights — in particular retailer logos and trade marks
Logos, trade marks, signs and other intellectual property rights of third parties — in particular of the retailers presented on the Service — are the property of their respective owners. The display of such signs on the Service is exclusively for information purposes in the context of affiliate marketing and retailer presentation; DontPayFull SRL derives no ownership or licence rights in these signs from such display. All trade mark and copyright rights remain with their respective owners.
5.3 Reporting infringements
If you believe that content on the Service infringes your rights, please contact us immediately at [email protected]. We will investigate such reports without delay.
6. Limitation of liability
6.1 Liability for the content of the Service
DontPayFull SRL is not liable for the accuracy, completeness, currency or availability of the price and offer information published on the Service. This information is compiled to the best of our knowledge; however, the information on the relevant retailer’s website is always decisive. In particular, DontPayFull SRL accepts no liability for a displayed voucher code still being valid at the time of its use or for a retailer honouring the displayed price at that time.
6.2 Liability for external links
The Service contains links to third-party websites. Those websites are operated by third parties, are outside the control of DontPayFull SRL, and DontPayFull SRL does not endorse and is not responsible for their content. DontPayFull SRL does not monitor linked websites on a continuous basis; where it obtains actual knowledge that a linked website contains unlawful content, the link concerned will be removed without delay. This reflects the intermediary liability framework of EU law (Directive 2000/31/EC and Regulation (EU) 2022/2065, the Digital Services Act).
6.3 General limitation of liability
Subject to section 6.4, DontPayFull SRL shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of revenue, loss of anticipated savings, loss of business or loss of data arising out of or in connection with the use of the Service, which is provided free of charge. Subject to section 6.4, the liability of DontPayFull SRL for loss caused by its ordinary negligence in connection with the Service is limited to loss that was reasonably foreseeable at the time the User used the Service. Nothing in this section excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, and this section is without prejudice to the rules on unfair contract terms under applicable EU consumer protection law (Directive 93/13/EEC) and the mandatory consumer law of the User’s country of residence (see section 6.4).
6.4 Mandatory exceptions — nothing in these Terms excludes
The above limitations of liability expressly do not apply to:
- (a) death or personal injury caused by the negligence of DontPayFull SRL or of its legal representatives or agents;
- (b) other damage caused by an intentional or grossly negligent breach of duty by DontPayFull SRL or its legal representatives or agents, or by fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
- (c) any liability or consumer right that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including your statutory rights as a consumer under applicable EU consumer protection law and the mandatory consumer law of your country of residence.
6.5 Purchase contracts with retailers
DontPayFull SRL is not a party to purchase contracts between Users and retailers and accepts no liability whatsoever for the performance of such contracts, for defects in delivered goods or services, for the conduct of retailers or for damage arising in connection with a purchase from a linked retailer. Complaints and warranty claims must be addressed exclusively to the relevant retailer.
7. Data protection and cookies
The collection and processing of personal data in connection with the use of the Service is governed by our Privacy Policy. Information about the use of cookies and similar technologies, and about how to give and withdraw consent, can be found in our Cookie Policy. Both documents form part of these Terms.
The data controller within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is DontPayFull SRL, established in Bucharest, Romania. The lead supervisory authority under the one-stop-shop mechanism is the Romanian data protection authority ANSPDCP (Autoritatea Națională de Supraveghere a Prelucrării Datelor cu Caracter Personal); Users may also contact the data protection supervisory authority of their own EU Member State.
8. Governing law and jurisdiction
8.1 Governing law
These Terms and all legal relationships between DontPayFull SRL and the Users of the Service are governed by Romanian law.
Mandatory consumer protection provisions of the User’s country of habitual residence remain unaffected and take precedence. For Users habitually resident in a Member State of the European Union, this means in particular that the mandatory consumer protection provisions of the law of their country of residence continue to apply and prevail wherever they afford the User greater protection than Romanian law. This follows from Article 6(2) of Regulation (EC) No 593/2008 (the Rome I Regulation).
8.2 Jurisdiction
For disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms, Bucharest (Romania) is agreed as the place of jurisdiction to the extent legally permissible.
Consumers habitually resident in a Member State of the European Union may also bring proceedings against DontPayFull SRL before the courts of their country of residence. This follows from Article 18(1) of Regulation (EU) No 1215/2012 (the Brussels Ia Regulation). Nothing in this clause restricts a consumer’s right to choose a forum more favourable to them.
9. Out-of-court dispute resolution
9.1 Alternative dispute resolution (ADR)
Under Directive 2013/11/EU on alternative dispute resolution for consumer disputes, traders’ participation in alternative dispute resolution is, as a rule, voluntary.
DontPayFull SRL is not obliged and does not undertake to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer ADR entity. If you have a question or complaint, please contact us directly at [email protected] — we aim to resolve every issue amicably.
Lists of notified ADR entities are maintained by the competent authorities of each EU Member State and by the European Commission.
9.2 Consumer protection authority
For general consumer information and complaints about commercial practices, consumers can contact the national consumer protection authority of their country of residence.
9.3 Cross-border disputes — European Consumer Centres
For disputes with traders based in another EU Member State (such as DontPayFull SRL, established in Romania), consumers can obtain free assistance from their local European Consumer Centre (ECC-Net).
9.4 European Small Claims Procedure
For cross-border consumer claims of up to €5,000, the European Small Claims Procedure (Regulation (EC) No 861/2007) offers an inexpensive route that does not require a lawyer; national small-claims procedures may also be available in the User’s country of residence.
10. Changes to these Terms
10.1 Right to amend
DontPayFull SRL reserves the right to amend or supplement these Terms where there is good reason to do so — in particular changes in the law, new technical features of the Service, changed market conditions or decisions of the supervisory authorities. Changes are published on this page; the date of the last update at the top of the page is adjusted accordingly.
10.2 Notice of material changes
DontPayFull SRL will, where possible, announce material changes to these Terms — in particular those significantly affecting Users’ rights — at least 14 days before they take effect, for example by a clear notice on the home page of the Service or by a notification the next time the Service is used.
10.3 Right to object
Users who do not wish to accept a material change may object to the application of the amended Terms. In that case, Users are entitled to stop using the Service. Use of the Service after amended Terms take effect is not treated as tacit acceptance of the changes; no such deemed-acceptance mechanism forms part of these Terms.
11. Severability
Should any provision of these Terms be or become wholly or partly invalid or unenforceable, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected. The invalid or unenforceable provision shall be replaced by the valid and enforceable provision that most closely reflects the economic purpose of the invalid provision. The same applies to any gaps in these Terms.
